The Hong Kong Branch focuses on conducting collaborative and mission-orientated marine research on four focal research directions. Total 59 projects (including 46 local projects and 13 oversea projects) have been funded via Open Collaborative Research Fund or Operation Fund for marine scientists from both Hong Kong and oversea countries including USA, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Australia and Israel.
